My name is Emily Libby, and I am thrilled to be part of the Family Medicine team at InterMed.
I was born in Maine and grew up in South Portland. I moved to Boston to attend college at Northeastern University and then medical school at Tufts University, where I participated in the Maine Track program and was lucky to be able to come back home to Maine for my clinical training. I stayed at Maine Medical Center for my residency training and am now so excited to be part of the InterMed team.
Being a family physician is an incredibly rewarding experience. I love creating long-lasting and meaningful relationships with families and patients of all ages. My goal is to work together with my patients to provide high quality care and help them achieve their optimal health in a team-based, supportive environment. I have a particular interest for women’s care and adolescent health.
Outside of work, you can find me on the lake paddle boarding, in the kitchen working on my baking (and eating) skills, in Disney World running half marathons or spending time with my wonderful family and friends.
