My name is Emily Steinberg and I am an obstetrician/gynecologist. A Minnesota native, I attended medical school in the Twin Cities, and completed my residency in Denver. After a few years in the Rocky Mountain West, my husband and I decided that Portland was the place we wanted to raise our family. I am truly delighted to be part of the Obstetrics and Gynecology team at InterMed.

I feel privileged every day to do this job, and to share in the milestones that each woman experiences from adolescence through menopause. It is important to me that my patients feel heard, respected and in control of their healthcare. In addition to general obstetrics, I have a special interest in adolescent care and minimally invasive gynecologic procedures. I also speak Spanish and welcome any Spanish-speakers to my practice.

In my free time you will find me outdoors swimming, running and cross-country skiing, or indoors reading, baking cookies and trying to figure out which foods my 10-month old twins will actually eat.
