Emily Wesolowski, MD

Pediatrician

From a young age, I knew that I wanted to work with children. My experiences as a babysitter, a camp counselor, a nanny, and even a snowboard instructor have all culminated in my career as a pediatrician. This journey continues to be incredibly rewarding, as I have had the privilege of sharing in long-term relationships with families; watching as their children grow from infants into young adults.

I grew up in Vermont and completed my residency training at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. Eager to start my career back in New England, I moved to Maine and joined the team here at InterMed. I currently live in Freeport with my young family, where we enjoy our access to the outdoors. We love the mountains, ocean, and everything in between- particularly the Portland restaurants!

Some of my clinical interests include newborns, pediatric obesity, guiding families in healthy lifestyle choices, and supporting independence and autonomy in teenagers. I am fortunate to be able to call InterMed home and welcome new patients to come grow with me!
