Jeffrey Grassmann, DO
I grew up traveling to Maine for vacations and when choosing a medical school I thought, what better place to study than on the beautiful shores of Maine’s coast.
After graduating from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, I loved the area so much I decided to stay for my residency and fellowship training with Maine Medical Center and built a practice in the area thereafter that combines Family Medicine and Integrative Medicine.
I love practicing Family Medicine. It allows me to care for families of multiple generations and at all stages in life. I believe that the best healthcare outcomes occur when a patient and physician develop a partnership forged in trust and mutual respect. Treating illness is vital, but finding, maintaining, and promoting health is the ultimate goal for me.
In my Integrative Medicine practice I use Osteopathic Manipulation, Acupuncture, and work with patients on lifestyle modifications to maximize their health goals.
My wife, (a Mainer) and I have recently built a house and are expecting our first child. We are happy to be settled and raise our family here.
When I am not in the office I am spending time with my family. I love nature and the outdoors; running, hiking, skiing, snowshoeing and spending time on the water, both lake and ocean. I also enjoy cooking and gardening.
