Kasey Little, MD

Internist

I think the important things in our lives—our relationships, careers, and passions—are dependent on our health. If our minds and bodies aren’t thriving, we don’t have the time, energy, or resources for these other parts of us to flourish. My goal as a physician is to help patients be as healthy as possible so that they can live life to the fullest. I see myself as an investigator, problem solver, coach, and cheerleader, and I absolutely love what I do.

At InterMed, I will practice the full spectrum of internal medicine. I enjoy providing preventative services, managing the care of medically complex adults, and everything in between. As a lifelong learner, I’m thrilled to teach medical students and resident physicians at Maine Medical Center. I take pride in practicing cost conscious medicine and staying up to date with healthcare policy issues. Physician leadership is important to me, and I’m thankful that InterMed supports this.

I’m from Indianapolis, Indiana, and moved to Maine with my husband, Ryan, who is originally from New England. Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, house projects, hosting family and friends, and playing with our giant fluffy dog, Appa.
