My name is Kim Dekker and I am board certified in family medicine and obesity medicine.

I was born and raised in Saskatchewan, Canada, and my medical education has taken me to Grenada, New York City and New Hampshire. Work and family brought me to Maine.

I became a family medicine doctor because I wanted to care for patients and help improve their health and wellness throughout their lives. I love being able to provide care for the whole family, and enjoy taking the time to get to know my patients and for them to get to know me.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my husband, children and black lab hiking the mountains and coastal trails of Maine, snowboarding, playing tennis and reading.
