Laurie Martens, PA-C
I have been practicing as a Physician Assistant since I graduated from Albany Medical College’s PA program in 1988. I received my bachelor degree in Biology at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and then went on PA school. I grew up in Waterville, but have lived in Southern Maine since I have been practicing medicine. I have worked at InterMed for over 15 years in Family Medicine.
I enjoy all aspects of Family Medicine and getting to know entire families from infants to grandparents. I have special interests in women’s health and in diabetes. At InterMed Family Medicine, we have a very cohesive group of physicians and NP/PAs working together to make sure we take excellent care of our patients.
I am the mother of four amazing young ladies, and I love spending time with my family, traveling, and being active.
