Pamela Kratzer, NP

Nurse Practitioner

My name is Pam Kratzer. I am a nurse practitioner and have been practicing as an NP since 1999. I first worked as an RN at Mercy Hospital and continued to work full-time while finishing my master’s degree. I then worked with hospitalists at Mercy until 2008 and later joined the Adult Inpatient Medicine group at Maine Medical Center, where I worked for five years.

I was born and raised in Maine. My husband and I have three children, ten year-old twins and a nine year-old. They are very active in sports and activities, which is what prompted my decision to leave the acute care setting. Much of my time is spent driving the kids to and from practices, piano, dance and watching soccer and basketball games. In the summer, we spend a great deal of time at our camp on Worthley Pond.

I have worked nights for ten years and now welcome the opportunity to work “normal” hours. I am excited to join the practice at InterMed and look forward to getting to know the patients and families over time.
