Rachel Cotton, MSN, PNP-PC

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

I am a primary care pediatric nurse practitioner who finds educating and helping my patients and their families the most rewarding part of my career.

Throughout my undergraduate studies, I worked as a special education substitute teacher. This experience created a passion to help children and their families, which is why I pursued a career in pediatrics. I enjoy being a trustworthy provider and hope that my patients always feel comfortable under my care.

I earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of New Hampshire before receiving my nursing degree from the University of New England. I received my master’s in nursing from the pediatric nurse practitioner program at Case Western Reserve University. I completed my fellowship in cardiovascular and critical care at Boston Children’s Hospital.

I grew up in the Seacoast area of New Hampshire and have always enjoyed trips to York Beach and Portland with my family. I love living in Maine and  experiencing all the beauty it has to offer.

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, relaxing by the beach and skiing. I love reading and spending time with my family.
