My name is Sarah Subak-Krah and I am an internist. I grew up in New York City, went to school in Philadelphia, and came to Portland as a resident. I fell in love with this city and have never left. It is small compared to New York City, yet offers many of the advantages of a big city: great cultural features (fantastic restaurants, museums, sports venues), plus the beauty and recreational opportunities of the ocean and nearby mountains, and many family-oriented benefits (great schools and the neighborliness of a smaller community).
InterMed is an integral part of this community. I job share, which gives me the opportunity to maintain a busy practice and spend time with my family. I can adjust my work schedule to meet the needs of my patients as well as those of my husband and three young children. I feel privileged to be part of both the InterMed and Portland communities.
