Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapy with Select Medical
My name is Cara Lyon, and I am a pelvic floor physical therapist.
I grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, but did my schooling in New Mexico and then graduate school in Texas. After spending 32 years in the hot sun in the southwestern states, I am very excited to be here in Maine!
I played college softball at Eastern New Mexico University, where I endured a season-ending shoulder injury that eventually required surgery. This is when I was introduced to physical therapy and I fell in love with it!
After the birth of my first child, I started having a passion for women’s health and the pelvic floor. I love being able to help people with their pelvic floor needs because it really has a noticeable change in their quality of life.
When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Marissa, and my daughter. I have three furry friends, including two dogs and a cat.
